About the assignment

At Novare, we are a proud and approved supplier for the Swedish government framework agreement. We are now looking for an interim manager for a government agency in Stockholm.

As an interim manager at the agency, you will act as the interim head of one of the agency's units. The role includes, among other things, personnel, operational, and budgetary responsibility. You will become an important part of the agency's work, where development and change management are in focus.

For this role, we are looking for you who are confident in your leadership. You are communicative and clear in your leadership style, able to maintain direction, motivate your employees, and remain calm and constructive in complex situations.

Requirements for the position

• Relevant academic degree
• Several years of experience as a manager with personnel, operational, and budgetary responsibility
• Extensive experience from the Swedish public sector, preferably within areas such as grant funding, culture, and nature.
• Practical experience in change management
• Experience leading experts and the ability to handle different perspectives and opinions regarding the assignment.

Desirable qualifications

• Practical experience with legislation regarding cultural heritage management and other laws regulating societal planning.

Assignment period and scope

The assignment is full-time, starting in August/September, and lasting approximately 6–12 months, with the possibility of extension. The placement is at the agency in Stockholm.
