About the assignment

Novare is a proud and approved supplier under the Swedish government framework agreement. We are now seeking an interim manager to act as unit manager for one of the agency's departments in Stockholm.

The role involves comprehensive responsibility for personnel, operations, and budget. You will be a key figure in the agency's work, with a focus on development and change management.

We are looking for you who are confident in your leadership. You are communicative and clear, able to maintain direction, motivate your employees, and act constructively and calmly in complex situations.

Requirements for the position

• Relevant academic degree
• Several years of experience as a manager with responsibility for personnel, operations, and budget
• Substantial experience from the Swedish civil service, preferably within areas such as grant funding, culture, and nature
• Practical experience in change management
• Experience leading experts and the ability to handle different perspectives and views regarding the assignment

Desirable qualifications

• Practical experience with legislation regarding cultural heritage management and other regulations governing urban planning

Assignment period and scope

The assignment is full-time, starting in August/September, and lasting approximately 6–12 months, with the possibility of extension. The location is at the agency in Stockholm.
