We provide acute internal medicine care with a focus on the heart, and our primary catchment area is Landskrona-Svalöv. The ward is a well-functioning inpatient unit with capacity for 18 telemetry beds, although we currently have 14 established care positions. The patients you meet, the good work climate, and the close collaboration within the team create a stimulating environment where every day is an opportunity for new knowledge and development. Our ward is characterized by being a tight-knit team with a positive atmosphere.

Here, we work in interdisciplinary teams with close collaboration with all professional groups such as doctors, assistant nurses, municipal coordinators, dietitians, and pharmacists. As a nurse, you have a defined role in the team with good opportunities to influence your workplace and develop your competence.

The hospital has several different areas of operation, such as specialist clinics, planned surgeries, the Surgery and Urology Ward, three internal medicine wards, and an emergency department. With us, you come to a small and familiar hospital where you will never just be one of the crowd. Walking distance to the train station and buses to the hospital make commuting easy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We welcome a new colleague to us at the Cardiac Medicine Ward!

As a nurse with us, you work in a team close to doctors, assistant nurses, and physiotherapists, where the patient is in focus. You work on a care ward with inpatients focusing on cardiac issues.

By working with us, you are offered good opportunities related to competence development, both through internal and external training. Additionally, you are offered an individually adapted introduction to our operations to ensure you settle well into your new role.

The shift schedule can include day, evening, and night shifts, as well as weekdays and weekends. We use a preference-based schedule, meaning you have the opportunity to create a schedule yourself, which you then adjust together with your colleagues to ensure the ward is staffed around the clock. We work two out of five weekends; if necessary, a half weekend can be scheduled within ten weeks.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a registered nurse, newly graduated or experienced, with the eligibility to work within Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at a minimum level of C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement.

You who are applying have a desire to work in a patient-centered manner with a holistic view and a care chain perspective. We would like you to have good pedagogical skills, be good at taking initiative, and have good collaboration skills with a positive attitude towards teamwork. You are a responsible person with a good sense of service and respectful treatment towards both colleagues and patients. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
