About Nya Varvet Day Activity Center

Nya Varvet Day Activity Center is an LSS (Law on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities) facility offering a meaningful and individually tailored day based on each participant's conditions, interests, and needs. The activity is characterized by structure, clarity, and participation, focusing on creating a secure daily life where participants are given the opportunity to develop at their own pace.

Activities are designed together with the participants and may consist of practical tasks, creative activities, physical exercise, and other meaningful engagements that provide context and content to the day.

About the Position

As a Support Assistant, you work closely with participants in their daily activities. You contribute to structure and predictability, support the planning and execution of the day, and ensure that the work is based on implementation plans and individual goals. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues, and the facility has a support pedagogues to assist with pedagogical and methodological work.

Responsibilities

• Support participants in daily activities and tasks.
• Work based on implementation plans and individual goals.
• Create clarity, structure, and participation in daily life.
• Document according to current routines.
• Collaborate with colleagues and support pedagogues.

Qualifications

• Education as a Support Assistant, Assistant Nurse, or other relevant education is meritorious.
• Experience working in day activity centers or within LSS is meritorious.
• You have a calm, secure, and respectful approach.
• You are responsible, flexible, and have good teamwork skills.
