Do you want to work closely with students, teachers, and guardians? We are now looking for an engaged counselor for the principal's area in Täby Kyrkby, which consists of two F-6 schools and one 7-9 school. Here you will combine student health, social work, and school development in a secure municipal operation.

About the Position

As a counselor, you are an important part of the student health team and the school's daily life. You work both preventively, promotively, and remedially – always with the student's best interests in focus.

You will, among other things:

• Hold support conversations with students, both short-term interventions and more planned series
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teachers, school leadership, and guardians
• Participate in and drive student health work, e.g., Student Health Teams (EHT), mapping, and action plans
• Work with group and class interventions regarding safety, study environment, and social development
• Collaborate with social services, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (BUP), and other external actors when necessary

Who We Are Looking For

You like people, relationships, and structure. You are confident in your profession, but also curious and eager to develop.

We believe you have:

• A degree in Social Work or equivalent relevant education
• At least 1–2 years of experience working with children and young people, preferably in schools or social services
• Good knowledge of legislation concerning children and young people, e.g., the Education Act and the Social Services Act
• The ability to build trust, listen actively, and create structure even when things are chaotic
• Good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as basic documentation experience
