We are approx. 350 colleagues within the Child and Education Administration who work within four school areas with children and students aged 1-16. We work to ensure that all children and young people have a good learning environment where they feel safe and are given the opportunity to achieve good results. Welcome to one of our four school areas: Lärcenter, Skived, Ullerud, and Grossbol.

Description

Forshaga Lärcenter is a meeting place for everyone, where collaboration creates curiosity, engagement, and quality of life in lifelong learning. The school is a comprehensive school (grades 1-9) with regular school, adapted school, and after-school center.

With us, good relationships, collaboration, and a professional approach are important parts of the work. We want to be a school where students and adults learn together and where all students are given the opportunity to succeed.

Responsibilities

We are now looking for a teacher in Mathematics, Science, and Technology for grades 7–9.

You will be part of a work team together with other subject teachers for grades 7–9. You will also become part of the subject group in Mathematics, Science, and Technology, where you together plan, follow up, and develop teaching based on the curriculum, course plans, and the school's other governing documents.

The assignment includes teaching, planning, assessment, evaluation, and documentation within your subjects. Mentorship is included in the position.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have teacher certification and eligibility to teach Mathematics, Science, and Technology in grades 7–9. If you have more subject eligibility, it is an advantage.

You have a genuine interest in young people's learning and development and want to contribute to developing the school's teaching and operations based on the school's governing documents. You are confident in the school's value base and have a positive and professional approach towards students, guardians, and colleagues.

We see that you have a good ability to create structure, build relationships, and adapt teaching to students' different needs. You can work independently, take initiative, and implement ideas, while also having an easy time collaborating with colleagues in work teams and subject groups.

Experience working with students in need of special support is an advantage. It is also important that you are confident in the school's digital working methods and want to use digital tools as a natural part of teaching and documentation.
