Kunskapsskolan Norrköping is looking for a Student Assistant/Resource Teacher

Kunskapsskolan in Norrköping is a primary school for grades 6-9. The school is located on Knäppingborgsgatan in central Norrköping, close to restaurants, shops, and the lovely Ströms Park. The school has approximately 485 students, evenly distributed across the four grade levels. We are looking for an engaged student assistant/resource teacher who will support a student to help them develop and reach their goals.

To ensure every student reaches as far as possible, we need staff with a strong commitment to the student. At Kunskapsskolan, we always put the individual at the center, so we are looking for you who actively work to ensure the student succeeds. As a student assistant/resource teacher, you, together with the student's teacher and the student health team, are responsible for supporting and helping the student reach their goals and succeed in school.

At Kunskapsskolan, we have a pronounced team spirit. You are never alone with challenges and questions. There is great openness among staff, and we share a common responsibility for our students. You will collaborate closely with the student's personal mentor, subject teachers, and the student health team at the school to ensure the student receives the necessary support. As a student assistant/resource teacher, you will also have frequent contact with the student's guardians.

Qualifications

As a student assistant/resource teacher at Kunskapsskolan, you need to be good at collaborating. We therefore value that you are structured, engaged, and communicative, as well as flexible and constructive in your collaborations. You should be prepared to find quick solutions based on the student's conditions and well-being. Experience of working in a school and some medical competence are meritorious.

Job Description

The position is a fixed-term appointment of approximately 75%.
