Your Role

As a nursing assistant in home care, you will be an integral part of another person's daily life. You will provide care, support, and service to assist users in their homes, enabling them to live meaningful, independent, and active lives. Your duties also include tasks delegated by nurses and rehabilitation staff, meaning you must hold the necessary delegations to perform these tasks.

Work is carried out from a rehabilitative approach, always starting from the user's own abilities to improve their quality of life. We prefer candidates with previous experience and a proven track record of high-quality work with users, where you have been proactive. Documentation is done in the journal system LifeCare.

You will be employed on a full-time basis (37 hours/week) with every other weekend duty. Working hours may vary between day and night shifts depending on operational needs. Two of the positions are strictly evening shifts.

Your Qualifications

• Trained nursing assistant with passing grades.
• Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, with good reading comprehension.
• Good computer skills.
• Ability to cycle (driving license is a plus).

Additional qualifications:

• Previous experience in the profession.
• Previous experience with various delegations.

To be employed as a nursing assistant, you must be able to present the "Protected Professional Title" certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen).

About the Workplace

Home care in Eslöv Municipality consists of four different units: Öster, Väster, Norr, and Ytter. Öster, Väster, and Norr work within Eslöv city, while Ytter works in the municipality's outer areas. All unit offices are within walking distance of the train station, with good train connections from Malmö and Lund.

As a nursing assistant in home care, you will collaborate closely with the area-responsible nurse and rehabilitation staff. All professions work together with the user's well-being as the focus.
