Åstorp Municipality is looking for a sharp communicator with broad experience in operational and strategic communication, with a focus on graphic design and film.

As a communicator at Åstorp Municipality, you have a varied and exciting assignment. You will work comprehensively with communication, both operationally and strategically, and serve as an important support function to the municipality's departments and operations.

You belong to the Digitalization and Communications Department, which is a central support and management function within the Municipal Executive Office. Since we are a small department, your work will consist of varied communication initiatives with an emphasis on graphic design and film production. You will support the municipality's operations in planning and implementing communication initiatives at different levels. You play an important role in strengthening Åstorp Municipality's brand and contributing to developing the municipality's communicative capabilities. In your role as a communicator, you will drive and develop our work with both internal and external communication.

We are looking for someone who:

• has a university degree in media and communication studies or equivalent
• has experience working as a communicator in the public sector
• has good knowledge of film production, creating, cutting, and editing film
• has good knowledge of layout and design
• has good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (primarily InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe Premiere Pro)
• is a skilled writer with high digital competence and expresses yourself well in speech and writing
• has a good sense of adapting messages to different target groups
• has good experience communicating through social media

Experience with the SiteVision web tool is an advantage.

Interviews will take place during weeks 24-25. Selection is ongoing.
