Do you want to work in a broad and developmental role where you play a central part in production development? We are currently seeking a Production Technician for our client – a well-respected production unit within sheet metal and machining, offering a complete mechanical workshop industry for contract manufacturing. Work here includes welding, laser cutting, press braking, cutting machining, and surface treatment.

About the role

As a Production Technician, you will enjoy a varied and stimulating daily routine. You will be involved in several of the company's core processes and work both operationally and strategically to develop production.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting production studies and flow analyses
• Creating and optimizing production layouts
• Working on simpler designs and technical solutions
• Driving various analyses and improvement initiatives
• Supporting the company's various processes with technical expertise
• Actively working with Lean and continuous improvements

This position offers you significant influence, allowing you to impact both processes and results.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role within production technology, preferably from the workshop or manufacturing industry. You are accustomed to working close to production and thrive in an environment where you can combine practical work with analytical improvement efforts.

We would appreciate if you:

• Have experience in production technology or industrial development
• Are accustomed to working in or leading improvement projects, preferably within Lean
• Have technical understanding and a problem-solving approach
• Are communicative, structured, and engaged
