About the role

Perido is currently recruiting a Manufacturing Engineer for a well-known player in the automotive industry. In this role, you will work closely with production, handling both long-term development and daily support. You will become a key part of the work to streamline processes, implement new technical solutions, and ensure competitive production.

The workplace is characterized by innovation, development, and a strong focus on continuous improvement. Here, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with various functions and contribute to both product and process development. The position is located in Braås, just outside Växjö.

Your responsibilities

In the role of Manufacturing Engineer, your tasks will include:

• Develop and implement production engineering methods and working practices
• Create and develop production layouts in 3D-CAD
• Conduct time studies, balancing, takt time analysis, and analyze production flows
• Identify and analyze bottlenecks in production
• Drive and lead improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts
• Participate in and contribute to product and process development projects
• Conduct technical investigations and analyses
• Implement product changes that affect processes and equipment
• Drive investment and changeover projects
• Coordinate external suppliers and contractors
• Participate in internal networks for knowledge sharing and competence development

Your profile

We believe you are a technically interested person driven by developing and improving production processes. You have strong analytical skills and enjoy taking initiative, driving issues forward, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Furthermore, you are communicative, structured, and have a knack for building trusting relationships.

Qualifications:

• University-level technical education or equivalent experience
• Experience in production engineering within the manufacturing industry
• Experience with Lean Production and established improvement methods
• Good knowledge of CAD, preferably Catia and/or Creo
• Very good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Knowledge or experience in welding

Scope and start date

Full-time, consulting assignment until 2026-12-18. Start date 2026-06-22.
