Job Responsibilities
Do you want to help develop a modern, data-driven, and efficient maintenance operation in a socially vital business? We are now looking for a Maintenance Engineer with strong analytical skills who wants to take a key role in developing our maintenance and working methods.
About the Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you are a central part of driving the development of our maintenance operations. You work closely with operations, technology, and management to ensure high availability, operational safety, and long-term sustainability in our facilities.
Your main areas of focus:
- Analyze maintenance data and identify potential for improvement
- Develop and optimize preventive and condition-based maintenance
- Drive improvement initiatives and standardize working methods
- Contribute to the development of maintenance strategies and long-term plans
- Work with maintenance systems and ensure data quality
- Support the organization in methodology regarding analysis, criticality, and decision support
You will also participate in projects, revision work, and improvement teams, and serve as an important link between technology, operations, and development work.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a strong interest in analysis, structure, and operational development within maintenance.
Our requirements:
- Relevant university education in fields such as mechanical engineering, energy, operations, or equivalent
- Experience in maintenance, production, or technical operations
- Good analytical skills and experience working with data
- Good experience working in maintenance systems or similar IT support
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Meritorious:
- Experience from the energy or process industry
- Experience in developing preventive maintenance (PM) programs
- Knowledge of Asset Management (ISO 55000)
- Experience with data analysis, Power BI, or similar tools
- Experience with criticality classification, root cause analysis, or improvement work
To succeed in the role, you are analytical and structured, with the ability to see patterns in complex data. You are proactive and initiative-taking, meaning you not only identify areas for improvement but also ensure they are implemented. Since the role involves many contact points, you are communicative and skilled at explaining technical analyses in a pedagogical manner.
