Do you want to help people live a more mobile life?

We are currently looking for an Orthopedic Technician at ForMotion in Växjö/Ljungby. We are part of Region Kronoberg, which currently consists of approximately 16 employees. Through our agreement with Region Kronoberg, we provide the county's residents with orthopedic technical services. At the clinic in Växjö, we also run a retail business targeting the growing privately funded healthcare sector, where we offer shoes, insoles, and orthoses.

Your responsibilities

As an orthopedic technician, you will assist patients with the analysis, fitting, and prescription of orthopedic technical aids, with a focus on prosthetics. A common feature across all our units in the region is that orthopedic technical care is provided in close collaboration with specialized care and primary care. In your patient work, you will be part of a team consisting of doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. You will be offered a varied job where the use of modern technical and clinical methods permeates daily work.

Who you are

  • Educated as an Orthopedic Technician
  • Proficiency in Swedish and good knowledge of English
  • Good computer skills
  • Experience working clinically with patients is an advantage

As a person, we would like you to be communicative, service-oriented, and flexible. We also value that you are self-motivated, structured, and meticulous in your work. To thrive with us, it is important that you enjoy collaboration and variety, have an interest in digital technology, and like working in an environment that is constantly evolving.

What we offer

We offer a generous wellness allowance, employee discount, access to a benefits portal, and collectively agreed occupational pension. You will work in a value-driven operation characterized by high engagement and a focus on helping people by providing the best possible service. We largely use digital working methods in our clinical work and offer continuous education and personal development. We offer a clinical development program for both newly graduated orthopedic technicians and for those with other healthcare education who wish to work clinically with patients. You will have a varied and meaningful job - ultimately, you help people live a more mobile life!

The employment

Full-time, permanent. A 6-month probationary period applies. Start date by agreement. We have a collective agreement.

If you have any questions about the position, please contact Clinic Manager Örjan Alering at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected])
