Do you want to work in a role where you take full responsibility – from idea to finished product – while staying close to production? At Combi Wear Parts, you have the opportunity to develop the next generation of wear parts systems for a global market. Here you combine design, problem-solving, and practical work in a company with its own manufacturing, strong innovation capacity, and short decision-making paths.
About the role
As a Product Development Engineer/Designer at Combi Wear Parts, you will have a varied and developmental role where you work broadly within design, preparation, and product development. You follow the products through their entire lifecycle – from idea and design to industrialization and follow-up in production and the field.
You will work on new designs and further development of the company's steel wear parts, with a focus on creating robust and sustainable solutions for demanding environments. The role also includes casting simulation, technical preparation, and optimization of manufacturing processes to ensure high quality and efficient production.
An important part of the job is being close to production and practically participating in troubleshooting and improvement work. You collaborate with colleagues in engineering, quality, and production, as well as having contact with external suppliers and mold makers. The role also involves providing some technical support to the sales organization.
You will become part of a small, competent engineering team with both junior and more experienced colleagues, where knowledge sharing and collaboration are central. The organization is flat, giving you good opportunities to influence and quickly see the results of your work. There are approximately 30 white-collar workers and 50-60 blue-collar employees in the organization – giving you the opportunity to build a broad and valuable internal network.
Your profile
We are looking for you who are a curious and solution-oriented engineer with a genuine interest in technology, production, and product development. You thrive in a role where you get to combine theoretical thinking with practical work and have a desire to understand how products function in reality. You have the ability to handle several parallel tasks without losing focus, and you are driven by solving problems and improving existing solutions.
