Do you want to develop smart electrical power solutions that make a real difference – for people, society, and the climate? As an R&D Engineer at Holtab, you will have the opportunity to combine technology, creativity, and sustainability in a role where your ideas contribute to the future of electricity distribution.

The Role of R&D Engineer

As an R&D Engineer at Holtab, you will play a key role in our new development projects within power transmission solutions and adjacent technical areas. You will develop products and technical solutions that meet both current and future customer requirements, while ensuring they are sustainable, safe, and production-friendly.

You will ensure that relevant standards are met, as well as sustainability and electrical safety requirements. The role also involves planning and conducting tests, participating in technical investigations, interpreting standards, and translating them into practical solutions. You will work closely with other R&D engineers and product managers, as well as collaborate closely with our design and production departments.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who have a university or college degree in fields such as electrical engineering or mechanics. We also value previous experience in development work and a strong understanding of development processes. It is an advantage if you also have education in testing, quality, or standardization, as well as experience in test methodology and documentation. Industry experience from power transmission is considered a merit.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You have a genuine technical interest, are solution-focused, and see opportunities in the tasks and challenges you encounter. You are inspired by driving and leading development projects towards set goals. To succeed in the role, you need to have good communication skills, be a team player, and work in a structured and meticulous manner.

What We Offer You

The position is a permanent full-time employment based in Tingsryd. There is also an opportunity to work partially remotely.

Here, you will have great opportunities for development – both as a person and in your professional role. When you start at Holtab, you will receive a thorough introduction that will help you quickly get up to speed with both the tasks and the company.

Holtab is a Career Company

For four years in a row, Holtab has received the Career Company award. This is something we are very proud of, as we have worked hard to create a workplace where everyone's development is at the center, and where you are encouraged to take space and be visible.
