Swepac AB is a 100% Swedish company focused on innovation in soil and asphalt compaction as well as concrete processing. Swepac is active in several markets in Northern Europe, and all manufacturing takes place in their own factory in Ljungby.

Swepac designs, develops, and manufactures machines for demanding and professional use. The company has extensive experience in development work within mechanics, strength, digitalization, ergonomics, working environment, and the environment, and is certified according to ISO 9001 and 14001. Swepac was founded in 1993 and was early to work in close dialogue with its customers to share ideas and wishes. In this way, Swepac has grown to become one of the leading players in Sweden and an increasingly important supplier internationally.

SWEPAC has approximately 40 employees, the majority of whom are based in Ljungby. Swepac also has a subsidiary in Poland for sales and service. Sales are conducted both directly to customers and through distributors. The turnover amounts to approx. 150 million SEK.

Designer with a Production Technology Focus

We are looking for you who want to take a key role and be the bridge between design and manufacturing, with the potential to assume a leadership role within a few years. Here you will have the opportunity to influence how our products are designed – not just on the drawing board, but all the way to efficient and robust production.

The role focuses on ensuring that designs are adapted for efficient and cost-optimized manufacturing, as well as supporting production in daily work. You are responsible for ensuring efficient and quality-assured product and assembly flows. The position is located in Ljungby, and you report to the Head of Design.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design of cost-effective and assembly-efficient machines and components
• Design of assembly fixtures for production
• Implementation of new details and product changes
• Measurement technology related to receiving control, supplier changes, and quality issues
• Handling of ECR cases and revision changes
• Building structures and preparations in the business system Monitor

Experience and Profile

We are looking for you with a university-level education in a relevant field or equivalent experience. To succeed in the role, you have experience in mechanical design, preferably within mechatronics and strength calculations. You also have a good understanding of production technology. You have very good knowledge of CAD, and experience with Monitor is an asset.

As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, curious, and thrive in collaborating with different functions. You have drive, are confident in making technical decisions, and contribute energy to everyday life. We place great importance on your personal qualities. You master Swedish and English in speech and writing.
