RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a team player who thrives where economics meets technology? Then the role of Investigation Engineer in our network development group at Växjö Energi Grid might be for you.

You will be part of an engaged team working on strategic and business-related issues connected to Växjö Energi's power grid. In Växjö, exciting urban development is underway with new establishments and increased demands for capacity and flexibility.

The group is responsible for ordering and project management of major power grid projects, large customer connections, grid analysis, revenue regulation and tariffs, as well as environmental scanning. An important part of the assignment is to investigate how the power grid can accommodate new actors – both those who want to connect to produce electricity and those who need more capacity.

We are now looking for a colleague who can work as a client for power grid projects and lead the project management of larger and complex reconstructions. This is a broad role with good opportunities for specialization over time.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a degree in electrical engineering or equivalent education, along with a few years of professional experience from the energy sector. Knowledge of power grids, such as larger connections, distribution stations, or network stations, is desirable, as is experience from the consulting industry with similar responsibilities.

You are equally interested in the technical and business aspects and have the ability to analyze and draw conclusions. You enjoy negotiating with suppliers and consultants, see the possibilities with digitalization, and take initiative. Analytical, persistent, and meticulous – these are qualities that fit well in a role where projects and investments must last for many years to come.

A driver's license is required, as well as good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Due to the nature of the operations, a security check may be conducted as part of the recruitment process.
