We are now looking for a new assistant to join our lovely team around our wonderful employer. We are looking for you who want to work full-time, with day-and-night shifts.

Our Employer

Our employer is a wheelchair-using woman in her 40s who lives in her own apartment in Svenljunga. She has autism and an intellectual disability. She is happy, positive, unexpectedly witty, and loves life. She enjoys creating activities both indoors and outdoors. She communicates using speech, pictures, schedules, signs, and body language. She has her own car which you, as the assistant, will drive; therefore, a driver's license is a requirement. On weekdays, you will accompany her to day activities where you assist our employer.

About You

We are looking for someone who enjoys being active and gives a lot of themselves. You should enjoy working with people, be flexible, and have good collaboration skills. It is a plus if you have a good sense of humor, as this helps build a good relationship with our employer. You will work day-and-night shifts, approximately 1-2 shifts per week. It is important that you have the availability to step in extra when needed, and can also swap shifts if required based on staffing needs.

Knowledge of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) / TAKK (Picture Exchange Communication System) / sign language is an advantage. You must be able to speak, write, and understand Swedish fluently.

Above all, it is important that you have good self-awareness, are confident in yourself, are receptive, take responsibility, and collaborate well with everyone you meet. You are flexible, open-minded, and see opportunities instead of obstacles. You need to be physically fit to handle the work, as it involves certain types of lifting, active walks, and scheduled exercise. Being non-smoking is a requirement.
