We are now looking for a support assistant for the group home "Maskrosen" (Dandelion), an LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) facility in Töreboda Municipality, where participation, security, and quality of life are at the center.

In the facility's team, support assistants, support pedagogues, and the unit manager work together. Other professions in the team include occupational therapists, nurses, and physiotherapists.

Job Responsibilities

As a support assistant at Maskrosen, we work to create good and equal living conditions for people with various disabilities. The work is characterized by a holistic perspective where we value the individual's self-determination and influence. There are 10 employees at Maskrosen working for the quality of our residents. Together, we develop the facility in several areas and value an open and supportive work climate where ideas are taken into account.

Job Responsibilities

In the role of support assistant, you provide supportive, motivating, and activating interventions in the daily lives of the residents. The tasks include, among other things:

• providing individually adapted support and guidance
• working based on implementation plans
• documenting according to current legislation
• collaborating closely with colleagues and other professional groups
• working independently with good judgment and responsibility

The work involves practical tasks and heavy lifting.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• education from the Care and Nursing Program or equivalent education
• experience working within LSS or with the target group
• good ability to communicate and create security
• a professional approach where the user is always in focus

Personal suitability is very important. You are responsible, structured, flexible, and have initiative. You have a calm and secure personality as well as high social competence.

Requirements:

• Category B driver's license
• An extract from the criminal record register is required upon employment, as well as reference checks.

Employment Conditions

• Scope: 80%
• Employment type: Permanent
• Start date: By agreement, but no later than September 1st.
• Salary: Fixed monthly salary
• Selection is ongoing.
