We are now looking for a certified teacher in Social Studies (SO) for a 1-year temporary position during the autumn term 2026 and spring term 2027.

The position is full-time. A probationary period of 6 months applies.

Job Description

• Work as a teacher in grades 4-6.
• You will be part of a working group with teachers for grades 4-6 and a subject group in Social Studies (SO).
• Your work includes planning, implementing, and following up on your teaching based on the Swedish curriculum LGR22.
• You also have a mentorship role, meaning you have overall responsibility for the students' knowledge development.
• You have close dialogue with the students' guardians and conduct development conferences.

In the team, the pedagogues help each other with planning, teaching, and the students' school day.

Who are you?

You have a Swedish teaching degree with eligibility in all 4 Social Studies subjects, as well as a Swedish teaching license. You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to implement the curriculum's goals in your work. You have clear leadership and stand strong in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and action-researching pedagogue who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is a given for you.

You have a straightforward and humble communication style with guardians and create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You should be positive and willing to cooperate and ready to join an international team.

In your role, you teach in Swedish. Between colleagues, we speak Swedish/English.
