At Fredkullaskolan, we are now looking for an engaged teacher in leisure-time center/fritidspedagog (after-school pedagogy) who wants to develop our leisure-time center together with us. Here, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the children in daily operations while also taking greater responsibility for planning, structure, and development of the leisure-time center's content.

For you who wish to combine pedagogical work with children in groups with greater responsibility for the development of the leisure-time center.

About the position

The position combines pedagogical work in the leisure-time center with responsibility for planning and developing the operations.

You will become an important part of the school as a whole, working closely with both students and colleagues in a secure and relationship-oriented environment.

The position includes planning time during the day and work in the leisure-time activities in the afternoons. Working hours vary throughout the week based on the needs of the operations.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will among other things:

• Plan, develop, and follow up on the pedagogical activities of the leisure-time center
• Actively work with play, creativity, movement, and social development
• Plan and conduct break-time activities
• Work with outdoor pedagogy and nature-based activities
• Be involved in contact and follow-up regarding the leisure-time center's students
• Collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to the school's joint work
• Participate in some administration related to the leisure-time center's operations

We are looking for someone who is secure, engaged, and relationship-building, and who enjoys combining structure and responsibility with creative work together with children.

We are looking for you who

• Are educated as a teacher in leisure-time center/fritidspedagog or have other relevant pedagogical education
• Have experience working in a leisure-time center or school
• Enjoy taking responsibility and working independently
• Have good teamwork skills and a warm approach
• Have an interest in children's social development, creativity, and learning

Experience of Waldorf pedagogy is meritorious but not a requirement. Experience working with children in need of special support is also meritorious.

Personal suitability is given great weight.

About Fredkullaskolan

Fredkullaskolan is a non-profit Waldorf school located by the Fontin nature reserve in Kungälv. Approximately 170 students attend the school, from preschool class to grade 9.

Our operations are characterized by closeness, high adult presence, and a shared responsibility for the students' security and development. Nature, sustainability, creativity, and movement are a natural part of the school's daily life.
