About the position

At Olivia, we are looking for you who want to work as a temporary substitute for our client in Nykvarn. The employment begins as a temporary assignment until August, with good opportunities for a permanent position of 31.25 hours/week thereafter. Start date is in July, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction at the same time.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

  • 06:00 - 14:00 (the work consists mainly of this shift)
  • 14:00 - 21:00 (may occur occasionally)

About the client

The client is a cheerful 15-year-old girl who attends school on weekdays. She lives with her family and their cat, Milo. She needs your help as an assistant in her daily life due to pontocerebellar hypoplasia, epilepsy, and intellectual disability. She is non-verbal and also has hearing and vision impairments. Furthermore, the client prefers female assistants!

The tasks are as follows:

  • Support with daily routines
  • Assist with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, transfers, and tube feeding
  • Medication management
  • Practical support in daily activities and accompanying to school

Requirements:

  • No allergy to fur-bearing animals
  • Valid driver's license and access to a car to commute to work

Employment level: Temporary position with the chance of a permanent role

Number of positions: 1

Start date: July. Interviews are conducted on a rolling basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

Things to consider before applying:

A prerequisite for starting employment at Olivia is that you can present a valid ID and submit a tax certificate (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the tax certificate from the Swedish Tax Agency's website.

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that, according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3), cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.

To work with children and young people under 18, you must provide a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order it well in advance.
