We are now looking for a qualified teacher in Home Economics with a Swedish teaching license.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date in Autumn Term 2026. A probationary period of 6 months applies.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for students in their lifelong learning. Our operations are permeated by a positive outlook, and we have strong confidence in the students' abilities. A strong value base and a positive view of students are very important to us. Together with your colleagues, you work to create a safe, structured, developmental, and stimulating learning environment for the students. You work in teams with teacher colleagues and support teachers. Our mission is to lead and support students together in their social and knowledge development. In the team, teachers help each other with planning, teaching, and the students' school day. Mentoring a class is included in the position.

Who are you?

You have a Swedish teaching license and are qualified in Home Economics. You have clear pedagogical insight and the ability to implement curriculum goals in your work. You have clear leadership skills and stand strong in your student groups. You are flexible, structured, and well-prepared. You are a present and research-engaged educator who challenges and stimulates students to develop. A strong belief in collaboration as a success factor for pedagogical development is obvious to you. You have direct and humble communication with guardians and create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.

You should be positive and cooperative and ready to join an international team.

In your role, you teach in Swedish, but between colleagues, we primarily speak English, but also Swedish. This means you need to master both languages fluently, both in speech and writing.
