Vittra Schools is one of Sweden's leading independent school companies, operating 24 preschools and primary schools across the country. Together, we are responsible for approximately 8,000 children and students and employ around 1,000 staff members. We opened our first school in 1993 and have been part of AcadeMedia, the largest education company in the Nordics, since 2008. Vittra is a socially engaged preschool and primary school where children and students learn about themselves and the world. With us, conscious children and students are formed, equipped with the right tools and knowledge to create a better and more sustainable society. We achieve this through our unique pedagogical approach based on three pillars: conscious learning, courageous culture, and clear structure.
What We Are Looking For
Do you want to help create a school where students develop through security, high expectations, and close relationships? At Vittra Röda Stan, we are now looking for an engaged and certified teacher for Year 4 who wants to make a difference alongside knowledgeable colleagues and curious students.
In the role of teacher with us, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on teaching, as well as assessment and documentation. You will also serve as a class mentor together with a colleague, providing excellent opportunities for close collaboration and shared responsibility for the students' development and well-being.
We are looking for you who is a secure and clear leader in the classroom and who is passionate about building good relationships with students. You focus on student development and goal achievement, believing that every student succeeds best when teaching is based on their experiences, prior knowledge, and individual needs. You thrive in collaboration with others and want to be part of a team that develops teaching together and creates the best conditions for student learning.
What We Offer
At Vittra Röda Stan, you become part of an engaged operation where collaboration, development, and innovation are at the center. Here, educators work together to create a learning environment where all students feel safe, seen, and motivated to develop. Our facilities have been recently renovated, and we offer a modern school environment with excellent pedagogical resources. All students in Years 4–9 have their own Chromebook, and during the year, we are also making a special investment in the school library to strengthen students' reading and learning.
About Us
Vittra Röda Stan's primary school is centrally located in Norrköping, near Folkparken, and has grown since its founding in 2002 into a secure and appreciated school for students from preschool to Year 9. Today, we have approximately 580 children and students and around 70 engaged and well-educated educators. Our school is characterized by diversity, strong community, and close pedagogical relationships. Many students choose to stay with us throughout their entire schooling, which creates continuity and security in our operations.
We offer good employment conditions, market-competitive salary, collective agreements, and a wellness allowance of 5,000 SEK per year.
The position is full-time (100%), and selection is ongoing, so please submit your application as soon as possible. The application deadline is June 5.
If you have questions about the position, you are warmly welcome to contact the Deputy Principal for Years 4-6 at [email protected].
We look forward to receiving your application!
