NTI Gymnasiet has schools across Sweden, focusing on technology, science, and innovation. The digitalization of society creates both new opportunities and challenges across all industries. Our mission is to provide our students, regardless of their program, with cutting-edge digital skills and knowledge of new technologies already during upper secondary school. We create environments, methods, forums, and collaborations that develop an understanding of the changing world we live in. Read more about our schools at www.ntigymnasiet.se.
Gymnasieskolan AB is now looking for a School Nurse!
Gymnasieskolan AB is part of AcadeMedia, one of the largest private education providers in the Nordics. We operate throughout the entire education chain, from preschool to adult education. Our employees have different roles and competencies, but share a strong common focus on quality and development. We help our children, students, and participants develop and reach their goals, and we are therefore looking for you who want to help make Sweden a little better.
Your Role
The Student Health Service's mission is to support students' development towards educational goals, primarily through health promotion and preventive work.
As a School Nurse, you bring nursing competence and medical expertise as support in the work with students' learning. You follow AcadeMedia's guidelines for medical interventions in the Student Health Service and participate in the school's student health work by:
- identifying symptoms early during health conversations that may indicate a need for extra adjustments or other interventions
- investigating and assessing the physical and mental health of individual students, sometimes as a basis for the school's investigation work and when creating action plans
- collaborating with others to increase knowledge about a healthy lifestyle among students and to provide support in related teaching
- contributing knowledge about risk and protective factors for students' health, social situation, and learning
- offering time for spontaneous visits where simpler healthcare interventions are provided
- offering vaccinations according to the general vaccination program for children
As a School Nurse, you are part of the school's Student Health Team and collaborate closely with school leadership, the Student Health Team (EHT), full-time mentors, educators, guardians, and authorities outside the school. The role also includes participating in the school's development work and the joint development and quality assurance work within the medical Student Health Service.
The work requires that you are secure in your professional role, can work independently, are proactive, and have a good ability to see opportunities in different situations. As support for your work, you are part of AcadeMedia's network for School Nurses, led by the Medical Operations Manager.
Your Profile
We are looking for you who are a registered nurse with specialist education as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or school nurse. You are interested in working with preventive health care and developing a modern School Nurse role. You have good interpersonal skills, can build trust with young people, have good planning and prioritization skills, and are flexible in situations that require it. Previous experience as a School Nurse or in health promotion work with children and young people is viewed very positively. Experience with the digital medical record system PMO is an advantage. Personal suitability is highly valued.
What We Offer You
We offer all our employees continuous competence development through AcadeMedia Academy as well as internal and external professional development. You will naturally receive collective agreement benefits and insurances, a generous wellness allowance, pension counseling, staff discounts, and the opportunity for favorable purchases through net and gross salary exchange.
The position is a part-time employment with a total extent of 40%.
A probation period of 6 months applies. Start date is by agreement.
Application and Contact
Apply as soon as possible via our recruitment system as selection and interviews are conducted continuously, no later than 2026-06-19. The position may be filled before the application deadline.
For questions regarding the position, please contact Principal Ulrika Assarehn at [email protected]
For questions regarding the medical role, contact Medical Operations Manager Marte Torp at phone number 0724-532746 or at [email protected].
We look forward to receiving your application!
