I am an active 23-year-old guy living a bit outside of Strängnäs with my family.

I am now looking for a personal assistant for a fixed-term position of at least 1 year. The working hours are approximately 25 hours per week and involve being awake during the night. Since you will be working in my home, it is of course important that you get along with the rest of my family as well as with me.

Who am I, what are my interests?

I enjoy staying home and spending time with my family. When the weather is nice, I love going for walks, cycling, playing football, or helping out with yard work. I absolutely love gardening and growing plants. On warm summer days, I am the first one jumping into the pool and I enjoy having an ice cream afterwards. I really like dancing and do it as often as I can, but I also like to relax sometimes and watch a good movie.

About you:

Since public bus transport does not fit with your working hours, you must have a driver's license and access to your own car. You should be cheerful, patient, reliable, and responsible. Because I have a defect in my windpipe that causes me to stop breathing, you must monitor me constantly as my assistant. Additionally, I have Down syndrome with a narrowed esophagus, which makes it easy for me to choke. So yes, I require your constant attention.

I use sign-supported communication extensively, so experience in this area is a plus. Otherwise, it is important that you speak clear Swedish. If you have knowledge of medical technical equipment and hold a nurse assistant education, it is meritorious. If you know sign language, that is also a plus!
