Welcome to a workplace where you make a difference – every day.
Lomma Municipality offers coastal quality of life with close proximity to Malmö and Lund. We care for our residents, the environment, and the sea. Lomma Municipality stands for development, sustainability, and high quality.
We are located in the heart of the Öresund Region and have good transport links by bus, train, and cycle paths to nearby towns.
As part of Lomma's transition to "Close Care" and our goal to become Sweden's best home care service, the Home Care units City and Hamnen in Lomma are expanding their staff and are therefore looking for two nursing assistants.
At our home care units City and Hamnen, nursing assistants, service personnel, team leaders, and operational planners work together in a close and supportive community. Our shared home care facility is located at Poppelgatan 21 in Lomma. You can easily reach us by bus from Lund, Malmö, and other surrounding municipalities. If you drive a car, there is plenty of parking available, and parking is free around the clock.
We look forward to receiving your application!

Job Responsibilities
As a nursing assistant with us, your mission is to always keep the individual in focus and to carry out approved and prescribed interventions with a preventive and health-promoting perspective. More concretely, this means that you:
- Provide personal care to care recipients in ordinary housing.
- Perform delegated tasks according to HSL (e.g., administering medication, insulin, subcutaneous injections, tube feeding).
- Encourage and support care recipients in activities and social interaction.
- Document in journals and write implementation plans.
- Act in the role of Permanent Care Contact.
Your duties also include, as needed, mentoring and supporting new colleagues and students, as well as actively participating in the competence development we regularly offer.
The nursing assistants are divided into work teams, and each team has regular meetings with the team leader and operational planner to plan routes and work proactively on quality issues. Each work shift begins with a structured report where on-duty employees meet with the operational planner, team leader, and unit manager to discuss current issues and review the plan for the shift.
To enable you to perform the role of permanent care contact in the best possible way, we have a working method where you receive an extra 30 minutes per care recipient every other week. The purpose of this time is to allow you to establish a trusting relationship with the care recipient and to continuously check how the interventions are working.
Several teams of nurses and rehabilitation staff are also attached to the units, and regular collaboration between nursing assistants, HSL staff, and social secretaries takes place both in daily work and at scheduled team meetings.
We encourage you to take an active role in shaping your schedule. While we cannot accommodate all requests, we aim to be flexible. The basis for scheduling is that you are scheduled for work every other weekend, that most of your shifts are during daytime hours between 07:00–15:15, and that you work approximately 35 evening shifts per four-week period (usually 14:00/15:00–22:15). We follow collective agreements, and a 100% position with us means you work 19 shifts per four-week period.
Qualifications
You who apply should:
- Be a trained nursing assistant with professional certification.
- Be willing to take necessary delegations (e.g., administering medication, insulin, subcutaneous injections, catheter irrigation, tube feeding, etc.).
- Have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
- Have good digital competence, for example in connection with documentation.
- Be able to cycle.
- Hold a valid driver's license (Category B).
Merits:
- Further education in healthcare or social work, e.g., specialist nursing assistant.
During the recruitment process, we will place great emphasis on personal suitability. Based on this, we see you as a person who is responsible, engaged, meticulous, flexible, and responsive, with an ability to establish and maintain constructive relationships with care recipients, relatives, and colleagues. We also value that you maintain calm and focus, even in situations where much is happening at once, and that you consistently work in a way that involves each individual care recipient and enables them to have influence over their daily lives.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent.
In Lomma Municipality, you have access to benefits according to our collective agreement. In addition to insurance, we offer, for example, wellness benefits and a company bike scheme.
