The position is distributed among our units in Gothenburg, Ale, and Borås, which means a varied and independent role with great opportunities to influence the daily lives of many students.

School Nurse – Why you should work with us

Your responsibilities within student health & preventive work

• Responsible for medical interventions according to current guidelines, as well as working health-promoting and preventive.
• Work proactively and close to the students in the school environment to identify needs early and build trust.
• Conduct health conversations, simpler medical assessments, and vaccinations.
• Provide advice regarding physical and mental health.
• Collaborate actively with teachers, school management, school counselor, and special needs educators.
• Maintain clear and accessible contact with guardians and external actors.
• Contribute to the school's development work and participate in systematic quality work.

Who are you? – Qualifications & personal qualities

• Registered nurse with specialist education as a school nurse, pediatric nurse, or district nurse.
• You have a strong commitment to the health, learning, and life situation of young people.
• You thrive in a mobile role and have a natural proactive approach where you build relationships in everyday life.
• Good ability to create trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues.
• You work independently and structured, but are also a team player.
• Experience working as a school nurse and digital record keeping in Prorenata is meritorious.
