We are looking for a Social Secretary (Social Worker) for a consultancy assignment within child and family services. The assignment involves exercising public authority with a focus on investigation, assessment, and follow-up in accordance with current legislation.

The work includes case processing and documentation according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), as well as investigating, assessing, and making decisions regarding children's need for support and protection, as well as parents' caregiving capacity. The role also includes follow-up of assistance measures.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work (Social Work Bachelor's/Master's)
• Good knowledge of the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU)
• At least five years of experience in case processing regarding children and young people according to SoL and LVU
• Active in the field within the last year
• Training in BBIC (Barns Behov i Centrum)
• Good computer skills
• Experience with Lifecare, Viva, or similar operational systems
• Valid driver's license (Category B)

About the Assignment

• Full-time position, 40 hours per week
• Daytime working hours
• Start as soon as possible
• Assignment period until August 31, 2026
