We are now looking for two wise and friendly LSS case workers for adults at the Disability Department of the Health and Care Office in Sollentuna Municipality.

Job Responsibilities

In your role as an LSS case worker, you will meet people with various disabilities and abilities. Your job is to investigate, assess, and follow up on needs and interventions based on the Act on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (LSS), the Social Services Act (SoL), and the Act on National Transport Services for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments. As support in your work, you will receive supervision, legal guidance, case reviews with experienced colleagues, close support from managers and team leaders, as well as opportunities for professional development. You will also be welcomed by colleagues who always support each other and create a good atmosphere together. During your first period with us, you will have access to a comprehensive introduction plan and designated mentors.

Qualifications

You have relevant education. It is an advantage if you are trained as a social worker and have experience in authority exercises according to LSS and SoL.

The role requires a good ability to express yourself in writing and to reason clearly in text.

Disability Department

At our department, there are currently eleven case worker positions, two place coordinators, two housing adaptation case workers, a team leader, a business developer, a unit manager, and a department manager.

Health and Care Office

Our office consists of three departments, and here work about 70 employees with SoL assistance case work, LSS case work, housing adaptation case work, economy, support and development, and administration. Quality, diversity, and choice are important concepts for the Health and Care Committee in Sollentuna, which for many years has worked with competition and choice within elderly care and LSS activities.
