Previous experience is desired
We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher for a project focusing on genomic footprints in wheatears (Oenanthe oenanthe) in changing agricultural and climatic environments. You will join a strong international research team with expertise spanning evolutionary ecology, genomics, population dynamics, and statistical modeling.
About the position
The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to a project aiming to investigate how natural populations living in agricultural landscapes evolutionarily handle rapid climate and land-use changes. The project is a close collaboration between researchers at SLU, Uppsala University, and the Swiss Ornithological Institute, covering the expertise required for the project. Close ties to SciLifeLab, the National Bioinformatics Infrastructure Sweden (NBIS), and the National Supercomputer Infrastructure (NAISS) guarantee a robust platform for all genomic work.
