About the Position

Responsibilities
As a Family Home Secretary in Bollebygd, you will become an important part of the Children and Young People unit and work closely with the social secretaries in the team. The role involves recruiting, investigating, and supervising foster homes, contact families, contact persons, and, if necessary, specially appointed custodians. You provide support and guidance in ongoing interventions and placements and are responsible for agreements, compensations, and other administrative parts related to the assignments.
In recent years, Bollebygd has made investments to build a stable and high-quality foster care system. Our work is clearly focused on ensuring that placed children receive safe and good care, while our foster families receive the support they need to succeed in their assignments. Together with management, you are responsible for further development, quality, and environmental scanning within foster care to meet future needs and challenges.
You are also part of the Family Home Secretaries' network within Sjuhärad and participate regularly in network meetings for competence development and experience exchange.
Qualifications
- Degree from the Social Work program
- Category B driver's license
Meritorious:
- Experience in foster care
- Experience in public administration
About You
We are looking for you who have personal maturity, a good ability to build relationships, and can meet individuals in vulnerable situations. You have a well-founded understanding of the importance of legal certainty and can adapt your working methods based on new conditions. You take responsibility for planning and prioritizing your tasks and value good collaboration. You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.
The work is mainly performed during daytime, but some flexibility is required as visits to foster homes sometimes take place in the evening. The position also involves both short and long trips.
We place great emphasis on the personal qualities and skills that we assess are required for the position.
Terms of Employment
- Salary: Monthly salary
- Employment type: Permanent position
- Duration: 6 months or longer
- Working hours: Daytime (with some flexibility for evening visits)
