Are you the one we are looking for?

We are now looking for a special needs teacher for Östra Skolan in Malmö.

As a special needs teacher, you work in close collaboration with students, teachers, and the student health team to identify needs and plan, implement, and follow up on various interventions.

You play a central role in the school's work to create good conditions for every student's learning. The role involves supporting students both individually and in small groups. You are also involved in the development of teaching and the school's learning environment.

You will become part of an engaged and competent team consisting of a counselor, school nurse, school psychologist (SYV), and principal. Together, we have a common focus: to create the best possible conditions for every student.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are trained as a special needs teacher and are passionate about making a real difference in every student's learning and development. You have good knowledge of pedagogical assessments, action plans, and extra adjustments, and you understand the importance of meeting each student based on their unique needs and prerequisites.

With your pedagogical skill and holistic thinking, you create structures and contexts that make students feel safe, seen, and motivated.

You have a positive and hopeful attitude towards students, and you see opportunities and strengths where others see obstacles.

As a colleague, you are engaged, innovative, and generous with your knowledge, and you actively contribute to a culture where we lift each other up and grow together.
