ProCivitas Gymnasium in Helsingborg is now looking for a School Nurse!

ProCivitas Gymnasium in Helsingborg started its operations in the autumn of 1997. Today, there are a total of 7 ProCivitas schools in the country, and ProCivitas Gymnasium is part of AcadeMedia, one of the largest private education coordinators in the Nordics. Since 1997, ProCivitas in Helsingborg has established a highly functional operation with high application demand, satisfied students, and guardians. We have approximately 750 students distributed across the Economics Programme, Social Sciences Programme, and Natural Sciences Programme. ProCivitas in Helsingborg is located in pleasant and well-equipped premises in central Helsingborg.

For the academic year 2025/2026, we are looking for a new school nurse for a full-time position. Your Role

The Student Health Service's mission is to support students' development towards the goals of education, primarily through health-promoting and preventive work.

As a school nurse, you bring medical competence as support in the work with students' learning. You follow AcadeMedia's guidelines for the Student Health Service's medical intervention and participate in the school's student health work by:

• identifying symptoms in students early during health conversations that may indicate a need for extra adjustments or other interventions
• in collaboration with others, contributing to increasing knowledge about a healthy lifestyle among students and being a support in teaching related to this
• contributing knowledge about risk and protective factors for students' health, social situation, and learning
• offering time for spontaneous visits where simpler healthcare interventions are provided
• offering vaccinations according to the general vaccination program for children

As the school nurse, you are part of the school's Student Health Team and have close cooperation with school management, the Student Health Team (EHT), educators, guardians, as well as authorities outside the school. The role also includes participating in the school's development work and in the joint development and quality assurance work within the medical Student Health Service.

The work assumes that you are secure in your professional role, can work independently, are proactive, and have a good ability to see opportunities in different situations. As support in your work, you are part of AcadeMedia's network for school nurses, led by the responsible person for medical operations.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist education as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or school nurse. You are interested in working with preventive health work and further developing a modern school nurse role. You have a good approach, can build trust with young people, have a good ability to plan and prioritize while being flexible in situations that require it. If you have previously worked as a school nurse or have experience in health-promoting work with children and young people, we see this as very positive. Experience with the digital record system ProRenata is meritorious. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
