The Social Services Department is looking for a personal assistant for a wheelchair user. The position is approximately 88%. In Boden Municipality, we have the right to full-time work, so part of the working hours can be performed at another time and place within the Social Services Department. We may apply a probationary period.

WORK RESPONSIBILITIES

The user needs support and help with most things to manage their daily life. The work involves assisting him with his needs for support and help in daily life. The tasks include supporting the user with personal care, transfers, household chores, leisure activities where film is a major interest, and more. The user is competent but has mobility impairments.

The work schedule includes day, evening, and weekend shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have well-developed empathy, a good understanding and respect for the difficulties and opportunities of people with disabilities, as well as respect for individual privacy and self-determination. We are looking for you who can adapt your way of being based on the person you meet and who are calm and secure.

It is meritorious if you have studied the Nursing Programme or have training as a personal assistant and/or experience from the profession.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
