The Communal Executive Board Administration in Lindesberg Municipality is embarking on an exciting development journey. We work with everything from societal development and administration to facility maintenance and meal services – and digitalization is a key to strengthening quality, accessibility, and legal certainty in everything we do.

We are now looking for a coordinator who wants to be a central force in the digitalization work. The role is new and gives you the opportunity to influence the direction of our digital development, from idea to real benefit for residents, employees, managers, and elected officials.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Digitalization Coordinator, you play a central role in driving and developing the administration's digital work. You act as a link between operations, technology, and management, ensuring that our digital solutions are based on real needs, are user-friendly, and stand the test of time.

In this role, you lead digitalization initiatives from idea to implementation and further development. This means you identify needs within the operations, conduct preliminary studies, prepare decision-making materials, and drive the work forward in close collaboration with colleagues, the IT department, and external parties. You monitor and develop solutions over time, focusing on utility, quality, and legal certainty.

You also play an important role in supporting operations in change and implementation work. By creating understanding, engagement, and participation, you contribute to new ways of working and solutions actually being used and making a difference in everyday life.

A part of the assignment involves being the system administrator for the municipality's e-service portal, where you are responsible for ensuring that the solutions function well, develop in the right direction, and meet both the needs of the operations and the residents.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have the ability to understand the challenges within the operations and translate them into sustainable and user-friendly digital solutions. At the same time, you have a holistic perspective and can navigate in complex contexts where different interests need to be balanced.

You are confident in leading processes and creating consensus, even when perspectives differ. Through your communication and collaboration style, you build trust and bring others along in the change. You thrive in a role where you get to think strategically and work operationally.

To succeed in the role, you have a relevant university education, for example in IT, digitalization, or project management, or equivalent experience. You have previous experience leading projects or development work and have a good understanding of change processes. You also have knowledge of laws and regulations related to digitalization, such as GDPR.

It is meritorious if you have experience from public sector operations and if you have previously worked with digital implementation, change management, or the development of e-services.
