ABOUT THE POSITION

At Kura Omsorg, we are looking for you who want to work as a Personal Assistant on a full-time basis for our client living in Vänersborg. The work involves double assistance around the clock, which means you always work together with a colleague. The position is scheduled both on weekdays and weekends, where you work either day and evening shifts or a waking night shift.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a young man in his 20s who lives with his family and his animals. As a personal assistant, you help him with all daily tasks such as during meals, personal hygiene, interpreting the world around him, and communicating with his friends. On weekdays, the client also goes to day activities, where you as an assistant accompany him and provide the necessary support. He communicates using a podcast book.

The client gets around in a wheelchair which you push for him. In his free time, he enjoys bathing, dancing, walking, and being out in the forest, sometimes together with his dog. The client has his own car and bicycle, which enables you and him to go out and do things together.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Our client is looking for a curious and playful person to join his team. He would like you to enjoy music, animals, dancing, and being out doing various activities. You who apply should also be flexible, attentive, responsible, secure, and cheerful. In the group, both boys and girls with different interests work together, which is a good mix for the client. We prioritize personal suitability.

REQUIREMENTS

• Not allergic to fur-bearing animals
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in care work

SALARY: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

Since the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old to work as a personal assistant.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of no criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record register and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order in good time.
