We are now looking for a Norwegian-speaking project advisor to help us. Could it be you?
Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak (ÖKS) is an EU programme owned by 14 regions in Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, with the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth (Tillväxtverket) as the managing authority. ÖKS invests in projects between Danes, Swedes, and Norwegians to solve common challenges in innovation, borderless labour markets, green transition, and transport. The role of the project advisors is to inform about the programme through various channels, advise potential project applicants, and process incoming applications to promote cooperation in southern Scandinavia. You will be employed by the Joint Secretariat located in Malmö or Gothenburg. Interreg ÖKS also has staff in Copenhagen.

About the role
The role involves project generation and advisory services, coaching, networking, and marketing of the programme and its opportunities, with a special focus on the Norwegian regions.
We are looking for a Norwegian-speaking project advisor who can work practically and "hands-on" with various types of case handling tasks. This includes marketing the programme, as well as advising and coaching potential and approved projects, processing and preparing project applications, and managing ongoing projects.
Your main points of contact are staff within ÖKS and Tillväxtverket, case handlers and project managers within projects, the programme's 11 regions, other Interreg programmes, the Commission, and Interact.
Your place of work is Gothenburg or Malmö, with good opportunities to work remotely/from home.
Travel within the programme area of Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak occurs, with a special focus on travel to Norway. Travel to other parts of the EU, such as Stockholm and Brussels, may also occur.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A university or higher education degree in fields such as political science, economics, law, public administration, or equivalent.
- Fluency in Norwegian, both spoken and written, and the ability to work in multilingual environments.
- Good knowledge of the EU.
- Very good knowledge and experience of the project aspects of ERDF, particularly Interreg.
- Experience with electronic case handling systems (e.g., NYPS2020) as well as Adobe and Office suites.
The following are meritorious:
- Previous experience from project management and/or Interreg ÖKS.
- Experience in administration at the municipal, regional, national, or EU level.
- Experience in project work, either as a project manager or equivalent, or as a preparer/handler of project applications.
