Skärgårdsgymnasiet is now looking for an engaged teacher for the Electrical and Energy Programme!

About the role

As a teacher in the Electrical and Energy Programme with us, you play a key role in shaping tomorrow's professional experts. You will combine theoretical teaching with practical sessions in our well-equipped workshops.

Your main responsibilities:

• Plan and conduct teaching in courses such as Electric Power, Practical Electrical Theory, and Installation Technology.
• Guide students during practical sessions and prepare them for their workplace-based learning (APL).
• Serve as a mentor for a group of students and support them in their personal and academic journey.
• Collaborate with the industry to ensure our education maintains the highest quality.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for the profession and who enjoys working with young people. You are pedagogical, patient, and have the ability to explain complex connections in an understandable way.

We would like you to have:

• Professional experience as an electrician (preferably with authorization).
• A teaching degree.
• Good knowledge of current industry regulations and safety instructions.
• A positive attitude and a desire to contribute to the school community.
