Kristianstad Central Hospital (CSK) is the emergency hospital for northern and eastern Scania. Here, emergency care is provided around the clock by qualified and dedicated staff. CSK offers the resources of a large hospital combined with the proximity and community feel of a smaller one. We have approximately 2,600 employees.

The Gastroenterology Clinic is part of the Medicine Business Area at CSK. Our staff consists of a well-functioning team of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, and medical secretaries. Patients come to us who need endoscopic examinations such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, or bronchoscopy to examine and/or treat the stomach and intestines due to diagnosed diseases. We also have patients receiving treatment for inflammatory bowel and liver diseases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We welcome a nurse who wants to become part of our team!

As a nurse at our clinic, you take care of the patient, assist the endoscopist, administer medication, and monitor and document the care process. Additionally, you work with sampling, medication treatment, examinations, and other treatments for patients with stomach, intestinal, and liver diseases. We also work extensively with medical technical equipment.

As a nurse here, you work both at the clinic, where you provide treatment to our patients with inflammatory bowel and liver diseases, and with endoscopy. Your role may involve responsibility for planning the day's schedule, including acute patients, as well as booking patients and providing telephone advice. We value competence development, so we have APT (work environment meetings) every other week and training in relevant areas every other week.

Here, you will receive an introduction tailored to your needs and previous experience. Working hours are during the day, Monday to Friday.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a registered nurse with the eligibility to work in Swedish healthcare. Proficiency in Swedish at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale is a requirement. Experience from endoscopy and nursing clinics is meritorious for the position. We would appreciate it if you have an interest in inflammatory bowel and liver diseases as well as medical technical equipment.

To thrive and succeed in the role, it is important that you are meticulous, prioritize well, and have the ability to quickly adapt when work conditions change. You enjoy working in a team while also having the ability to take initiative and work independently.
