About the position
We are currently looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant on a part-time basis (50%) for a man in his 30s with an acquired brain injury. Assistive devices include, among other things, a tracheostomy and a cough assist machine. Part of the introduction involves three days of full-day training at Danderyd Hospital, with both practical and theoretical training to handle these assistive devices correctly.
Dual staffing day and night
The duties are as follows:
- Help with daily routines, such as household chores.
- Assist with personal hygiene, dressing/undressing, and meals.
- Lifting may occur during transfers.
- Accompany on activities.
Working hours: Varying working hours, weekdays as well as day and evening shifts on weekends.
About you

Since the client has dual assistance, this means you need to be a reliable team player who thrives in close collaboration and good communication.
Meritorious if you have:
- Professional experience with tracheostomy.
Requirements:
- Swedish in speech and writing to document correctly.
- Experience working as a personal assistant or within care and social services.
- Non-smoker.
- Physically strong.
Start date: Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.
Extent: 1 position, 50%
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.
Things to consider before applying:

Due to the fact that the position may involve solo work, night work, and tasks that according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations (AFS 2012:3) cannot be performed by minors, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present a certificate of good conduct (extract from the criminal record). From March 1, 2026, new rules apply meaning that the register control will cover both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing time may vary, so ordering should be done in good time.
