We are looking for a colleague for the Family Team. At the Individual and Family Unit in Götene Municipality, there is a children and family group, an adult group, and a family team. Here, the unit manager, senior social secretaries, coordinators, social secretaries, alcohol and drug counselors, therapists, and family therapists work.

Job Responsibilities

You will be part of the Family Team, where a total of five family therapists work. The operations target children, young people, and their families. The purpose is for children and young people to remain in their context, i.e., stay in their homes and schools, and not need care outside the home.

As a family therapist, you work with psychosocial change work aimed at strengthening parenthood, improving communication between family members, and strengthening relationships within families. The goal of the interventions is for families themselves to develop strategies to handle the difficulties they face. We collaborate with the family's network, the school, and other contacts around the family. The support is individually assessed assistance. We also offer service in the form of interventions without needs assessment.

Personal Qualities

We assume that you are an empathetic, secure person with good personal maturity. You have good collaboration skills and contribute to a good work climate. Furthermore, you have the ability to work independently, are flexible, and stress-resistant. You should have good ability for reflection and analysis, as well as the ability to express yourself well both verbally and in writing. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a social worker, social pedagogue, or other equivalent education that the employer finds suitable. It is desirable that you have experience and have worked with various forms of family therapy, youth work, and parental support. Experience of work based on one or more of the following educations, Marte Meo, PYK, Trappansamtal, Repuls, KOMET, or Trygghetscirkeln is meritorious.

Conditions
