Personal Assistant for a man in Grebbestad – seeking a calm, warm, and reliable assistant for hourly employment.

I am a nearly 37-year-old man living in Grebbestad. I enjoy long walks, music, baking, and good food – and I have a good sense of humor. In my daily life, I need help with most things, and I do not have verbal speech. Therefore, it is important that you, as my assistant, are attentive, present, and secure in yourself, and can read me through body language and sounds.

I attend day activities during the day, so you will work afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends. The work takes place primarily in my home, but sometimes you will accompany me to, for example, medical appointments.

About you

I am looking for you who have a warm, calm, and secure energy. It is important that you feel comfortable working independently and making everyday decisions on your own. Age is less important – what matters most is your maturity and confidence in the role. I wish for you to be a person who is equally comfortable with silence and active presence as with taking longer walks. I love dogs, and there is a dog in my vicinity, so you must not be allergic.

It is a plus if you have experience with:

• personal assistance or similar care work
• alternative communication (or are curious to learn)

Job responsibilities: As my personal assistant, you are my eyes and ears in everyday life. The tasks include, among other things:

• help with personal care and hygiene
• cooking and household chores
• escorting on walks and activities
• being a secure support in my daily life

Employment type: Hourly employment initially, with the possibility of extension and scheduled employment in the future.

Work shifts are scheduled on weekdays approx. 15:00–09:00 and weekends 12:00–12:00 (24-hour shifts) with sleeping on-call.
