About the position

Our partner company 3L Glas & Bygg AB is a family-run and growing company with a passion for craftsmanship and smart solutions within glass and construction. The company was founded in Örnsköldsvik in 2000 and has since grown by combining solid craftsmanship experience and innovative solutions in glazing, construction, as well as customized aluminum and glass systems. Here, work is carried out on varied and exciting projects.

In the role of foreman, you will lead a team of 3-4 people in projects involving glass facades and aluminum work. You are responsible for ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety, as well as coordinating work with other parties on the construction site.

You appreciate collaboration, thrive in a social and engaged work environment, and find it easy to build good relationships with both colleagues and other stakeholders in the projects.

The position is based in Umeå, and working hours are Monday–Thursday 07:00–19:00, with Fridays off. The role is primarily linked to a project in Umeå, but travel may occur as part of the job.

Responsibilities

• Lead and distribute work for installation teams within glass installation, ensuring that projects are driven according to schedule, budget, and quality.
• Plan, coordinate, and follow up on daily work at the construction site.
• Maintain ongoing contact with project management, customers, and other professional groups for smooth coordination.
• Ensure a safe, structured, and efficient working environment, and support and coach installers in their daily work.

We are looking for you who

• Have a construction technical education or other vocational training that we assess is relevant for the position
• Have previous experience as a foreman in the construction industry
• Have experience handling glass - for example as a glazier or similar
• Can communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
• Hold a valid B-driver's license

It is an advantage if you have

• Worked in a similar job role previously
• Live in/have connections to Umeå
