Björkdalsgruvan is now looking for a Shift Leader for Daily Operation of the Crushing Plant. We are looking for you who have experience from crushing operations, process industry, or heavy mechanical operations and who thrive on leading people, creating structure, and driving improvements in a safe and production-oriented environment.

About the Role

As the Shift Leader for daily operation of the crusher, you play a key role in the daily operations. You are responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on the work for shift teams, mechanics, and electricians in the stationary crushing plant. In this role, you work closely with the Crushing Manager and Maintenance Planner to ensure safe, stable, and efficient operation.

You will become an important leader in the operation, driving daily work forward, supporting employees, and contributing to the development of both people and processes.

Main Responsibilities

• Participate in annual planning, rope stop planning, monthly & weekly planning together with the Maintenance Planner and Crushing Manager.
• Distribute and follow up on work during maintenance stops in consultation with relevant parties, and ensure reporting back in our maintenance system.
• Ensure that preventive activities take place regularly, such as oil analysis, lubrication, and vibration measurements.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and follow-up of spare parts, including receiving control.
• In consultation with relevant parties, plan repairs and preventive maintenance work.
• Contribute to the development of processes, maintenance methods, and technical solutions. Actively work for structure, order, and cleanliness in the workplace.
• Collaborate with mechanics and electricians and be a support and help to ensure daily operation.

You likely have experience leading work groups, projects, or maintenance efforts within industry.

We would like you to have

• Experience in leadership, coordination, or other leading roles.
• Technical or mechanical education or equivalent practical experience.
• Good understanding of maintenance work, mechanics, and plant operation.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and planned maintenance work.
• Good computer skills and preferably experience with maintenance systems.
• Experience from crushing plants or similar process plants is an advantage.
• Training in Hot Work, overhead crane, crane, or fall protection is an advantage.
