Do you want to work on complex building construction projects while contributing to the development of the Swedish process industry? We are now looking for an experienced Building Constructor for AFRY in Skellefteå. Here you will work on varied assignments within the process industry – from early feasibility studies to construction document design – together with a competent and engaged team. You will become part of a rapidly growing business where collaboration, development, and technical expertise are in focus.

Information about the position

Professionals Nord is recruiting on behalf of AFRY for a Building Constructor. The assignment is part of our staffing solution. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at AFRY for 12 months. The intention is that you may eventually be hired directly by AFRY, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Responsibilities

In the role of Building Constructor, you work with design and construction within the process industry. You are responsible for technical solutions and collaborate closely with both customers and the project organization to ensure high quality throughout the project.

Examples of responsibilities:

• Act as design and/or calculation responsible in projects
• Be responsible for planning, follow-up, and execution of assignments regarding time, quality, and economy
• Coordinate and collaborate with clients as well as internal and external designers
• Act as an advisory constructor in early project phases
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers and contribute to long-term customer relationships

We are looking for you who

We believe that your personal attributes are crucial for how well you will thrive in the role at AFRY. We are looking for you who have solid experience as a Building Constructor and who enjoy working in technically complex projects. You have good knowledge of current building legislation, as well as experience in building design and structural calculations. We would like you to have competence in one or more areas such as concrete, steel, wood, or foundation construction. Experience from process or other industrial operations is meritorious.

As a person, you are structured, responsible, and solution-oriented. You find it easy to collaborate with others, thrive in customer dialogues, and are motivated by contributing to the development of both projects and the business. We would like you to have a university or civil engineering degree in a relevant field.
