As a machine operator for our client, your main tasks involve receiving, inspecting, processing, and loading out materials according to current site routines. In addition to operating machinery, you will perform daily maintenance and some servicing of the site's machines and equipment. You may also occasionally perform tasks outside the machine, such as monitoring water treatment equipment, the compost drum, or operating the trommel screen.

The role includes ongoing risk and near-miss reporting, as well as daily reporting in the construction diary when applicable. This reporting is primarily done via your mobile phone.

You will typically work Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00, with a significant portion of your working hours spent at the site outside of Umeå.

The assignment is expected to start in August. For the right candidate, there is an opportunity for extension during the winter, depending on project developments.

To be considered for this position, you must have a machine operator license for wheel loaders and excavators, as well as good computer skills. Previous experience in the industry and experience operating dumpers are advantageous but not mandatory.
