Do you want to make a difference every day while growing and being an important part of a community? I am now looking for a personal assistant for up to approx. 80% to join my team.

The position is for approximately 30–35 hours per week, but we can adjust the workload based on your preferences. Working hours vary between days, evenings, and every other weekend. Night shifts (awake nights) may occur on occasional occasions when needed.

A little about me: I live in an apartment in southern Stockholm with good transport connections (green line and bus). I lead an active, social, and meaningful life – I am engaged in the JAG association, work at JAG Center, and enjoy staying active. For me, assistance is more than practical help – it is about security, quality, and interaction in everyday life. When things go well, we create space together for both joy of life and development.

Who are you? I believe you are a person who works with listening skills and presence in the moment, is positive and solution-oriented – someone who likes to take responsibility and see the big picture.

You:

• Have experience with AAC and sign language (TAKK/TSP), or are curious and eager to learn, and can actively assist me in using my eye-controlled computer for communication with others.
• Have experience in personal assistance, preferably also with self-care.
• Enjoy being active and have good physical fitness (I use a wheelchair but walk with your support).
• Are practical-minded, enjoy assisting with cooking, and keep your surroundings tidy.

Working hours: You will work according to a four-week schedule with varying shifts, for example:

• 07:30/08:30–15:00/16:00
• 13:00–21:00

Start date: Immediately or as agreed.

About the recruitment process: We contact interesting candidates on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. As part of our recruitment process, we always conduct a background check via Fortcheck, which is sent to you as a candidate via email and SMS. The background check is conducted entirely on your terms – you perform the check yourself and receive the results. You then choose whether to forward the information to us or to withdraw.
