Are you a star in accounts payable who thrives in a fast-paced role with extensive contact surfaces? On behalf of our client, we are now recruiting an accountant who will play a central role where your attention to detail in numbers is combined with future responsibility for purchasing and business development. We are looking for you who have the right attitude and want to grow together with the company!

In this role, you will become a key person in the finance function of an established player in the automotive industry. With overall responsibility for accounts payable in a business with high transaction volumes, your ability to ensure quality and efficient processes will be directly decisive. The role is both operational and development-oriented, meaning you will have significant autonomy while serving as an important sounding board for the workshop, sales, and management.

You report directly to the Finance Manager, and the position is a full-time employment based in Jönköping.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Accounts Payable: Overall responsibility for invoice flows in Visma and Medius, including coding, approval workflows, and payment runs.
• Financial Closing: Perform reconciliations, accruals, and support the Finance Manager in the closing process.
• Purchasing & Contracts: Follow up on supplier agreements, prices, and terms, and identify cost savings.
• Process Development: Drive digitalization and automation of financial flows.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have a solid background in finance and are motivated by order and accuracy combined with business benefit. To succeed in the role, we see that you have several years of experience in accounts payable, preferably from a business characterized by high volumes and fast transaction flows. You have a solid foundation in accounting and closing processes, as well as good knowledge of regulatory compliance and VAT. Furthermore, you are a proficient user of financial systems with very good Excel skills, and since the role involves many internal and external contacts, fluency in Swedish is required in both speech and writing.

It is meritorious if you have previously worked in Visma and Medius, or if you have experience from the automotive industry. If you also have experience in purchasing or process development, we see this as a big plus.

You are communicative and relationship-building, which is crucial as the role involves many internal and external contacts. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and see opportunities for improvement where others see obstacles.
