As an Operations Technician/Ventilation Technician with us, you will belong to the Operations & Energy Unit, which is responsible for optimizing our energy consumption and ensuring a good indoor environment in our tenants' homes. The unit is part of the Property Department and consists of specialist competencies within electricity, ventilation, piping, and operations. We manage an area of 429,770 sqm and have approximately 5,700 apartments and 170 commercial premises in our portfolio.

About the role

As an Operations Technician/Ventilation Technician, you will be responsible for supervision, maintenance, and upkeep of building technical systems. Your focus area in this role will be ventilation and control systems, although other tasks within building technology will also occur. The area of responsibility includes assessing and independently making decisions on whether certain maintenance and repair measures should be carried out in-house or ordered through our framework agreements.

Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Monitoring operational status
• Patrolling operational areas
• Troubleshooting and repairing installations
• Operational optimization
• Updating changes in the property system Vitec

Your profile

To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

• Post-secondary education as an operations technician with a property focus, or equivalent background/experience assessed as equivalent
• A few years of professional experience in the field
• Good knowledge of ventilation and control systems
• Good IT skills
• Category B driver's license

If you also have the following, we consider it meritorious:

• Experience working with maintenance and operation of FTX (mechanical ventilation with heat recovery) systems
• Electrical training and experience troubleshooting in equipment cabinets, as well as reading and interpreting electrical diagrams
• Good administrative skills, as we perform OVK (Ventilation System Inspection) inspections
